Join us for an overview of the Children’s Advocacy Center’s role in the multidisciplinary investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases. The presentation will explore how CACs support prosecutors and investigative partners through child-centered forensic interviews, coordinated multidisciplinary response, family advocacy, referrals for medical and mental health services, and ongoing collaboration throughout the investigative and legal process. The goal is to provide children with a safe, supportive environment while helping ensure investigations are thorough, coordinated, and focused on the needs of the child.
