Leelanau County Probate/Family Court Court-Appointed Attorneys

The Probate/Family Court are now accepting applications for the 2025 court-appointed attorney/guardian ad litem contracts. 
 
Leelanau County Probate Court is seeking attorneys and guardian ad litems to represent individuals that are subjects of guardianships, conservatorships, decedent's estates, trusts, and mental health commitment proceedings. If you are not currently on the Court's roster, but would like to be considered, please email your letter of interest and resume to Kristina Mattis at kmattis@leelanau.gov no later than February

Leelanau County Family Court is currently seeking attorneys to represent juveniles in delinquency proceedings, respondent in alleged violation of a personal protection order, respondent parents in child protective proceedings and appeals.  The Court is also seeking guardian ad litems to represent minor children of child protective proceedings. If you are not currently on the Court's roster, but would like to be considered, please email your letter of interest and resume to Cameron Clark at cclark@leelanau.gov no later than February
